11:00 pm to Noon
Join your friends at OASIS for our next drum circle!
We all instinctively possess a sense of rhythm... our hearts beat, our hands clap, and our feet tap. Through rhythm, we will relax, reduce stress, and build connection.
Drums and other rhythm instruments are provided.
Led by Cathy Campanaro, a trained Remo HealthRhythms Facilitator with additional training in drum circle facilitation.
Advance registration required as space is limited.
A special experiential workshop!
Saturday, May 31, 2025
9:00 am to 12:30 pm
Join us as we learn how the circles of intimacy impact our relationships.
The circles help us understand:
• social boundaries
• appropriate behaviors
• communication styles
• how to modify our interactions depending on the person and context
This program utilizes experiential therapy involving movement to access and release trapped emotions.
Facilitated by Lynn Ménard-Kim, MFA, graduate intern in Clinical Psychology and Counseling.
This program is part of our Reconnection Community series, designed for people struggling to reconnect with their non addicted, estranged family members.
An 8-Week Educational Series
Thursdays, begins July 24, 2025
5:15 pm to 6:30 pm
Having a loved one in active addiction can be traumatic. Personality and behavior changes have a profound effect on the rest of the family.
In this course, you will learn about…
• the disease of addiction
• what has happened to our loved one
• how family members are affected
• why fear-driven control, rescuing, and enabling do not work
• the need to develop healthy communications and boundaries
Recovery is possible for family members, regardless of whether your loved one continues to use substances or enters sobriety.
Participants will be utilizing the Addressing Addiction in the Home workbook, available at OASIS for $12.00.
Facilitated by: Tina Thomas, CFRS – Family Education & Support
Registration required by July 11th
