Angels of the Valley Memorial Banners Project

OASIS Family Recovery Day 4.0 Special Guest: Lamont McClure Northampton County Exec

OASIS Family Recovery Day 4.0 Special Guest: Lamont McClure Northampton County Exec

Displayed Annually Throughout September

This banner project aims to raise awareness of the opioid epidemic and reduce the stigma associated with substance use. The project recognizes the grief felt by families and friends in our community who have lost a loved one as a result of drug use.

  • The banners display photos; each signify the passing of someone cherished.
  • Presents a poignant message that the tragedy of drug-related death is preventable, and those who are suffering should feel no shame in asking for help.
  • Displayed in Bethlehem on the SteelStacks campus of ArtsQuest beginning on August 31st (International Overdose Awareness Day) and throughout the month of September (National Recovery Month).
  • New banners are created each year and hung alongside previously created banners.

Photo submissions are accepted by ArtsQuest only during the month of July each year. If you would like to be notified when the next submission portal is opened, email us at info@oasisbethlehem.org. Once the portal is open, complete the online form and upload your photo: bananafactory.org/angelsofthevalley/

This project is presented  by LVHN in partnership with Speak Up for Ben, Inc., and ArtsQuest.
