In this course, you will learn about…
• the disease of addiction
• what has happened to our loved one
• how family members are affected
• why fear-driven control, rescuing, and enabling do not work
• the need to develop healthy communications and boundaries
Recovery is possible for family members, regardless of whether your loved one continues to use substances or enters sobriety.
Participants will be using the Addressing Addiction in the Home workbook, available at OASIS for $15.
Open to residents of Northampton and Lehigh counties.
Facilitated by: Bill Arnold, LPC, CAADC
