We offer evidence-based programs SMART Recovery Family & Friends, SMART Recovery for Individuals, and Invitation to Change Approach in addition to hosting peer support groups Al-Anon and Adult Children of Alcoholics. We contract a licensed professional counselor (LPC) to facilitate our Hopeful Hearts Grief Support Group and our Navigating SUD in the Family Counseling Group. A new program being rolled out fall 2024 is The Reconnection Community, designed to help restore fractured families. Check out our Calendar page for meeting information.
Rhonda and Tina, the OASIS team of Certified Family Recovery Specialists (CFRS), offer guidance to connect you to resources to help you and your loved ones on the path of recovery and wellness. We understand the stigma families experience when a loved one has a substance use disorder, and have experienced our own journeys of recovery from the effects of the family disease of addiction. Rhonda, our executive director and Tina, our family education support staff have lived experience with a loved one’s substance use conditions, and have successfully accessed resources while learning to navigate multiple systems.
Our professional Certified Family Recovery Specialists (CFRS) have completed hundreds of hours of professional training, are credentialed through the Pennsylvania Certification Board, and adhere to a prescribed Code of Ethics. We complete continuing education credits each year including coursework in confidentiality, ethics, and addiction education. All of the OASIS staff are trained in Trauma-Informed Care (TIC). Many of our volunteer leaders also hold the CFRS and CRS certification. Contact us to schedule a no cost confidential appointment. Check out our Resources & Education tab.
We offer fun, holistic activities to help your body, mind, and spirit heal. Cooking classes, art classes, yoga, and mindfulness are some of our offerings. New friendships are formed. Doing these together helps us heal. Check out our Wellness & Self-Care page and our Calendar of events.
